Tech marketers 'could benefit from RSS integration'

Most business-to-business (B2B) technology marketers in the US are failing to incorporate RSS into their online strategy - meaning that they are potentially missing out a range of promotional benefits.
This is according to a new survey conducted by MarCom Ink, which found that seven in ten B2B technology marketers do not consider RSS when compiling their online marketing campaigns.
The company warned that this may represent a missed opportunity as figures from MarketingSherpa and KnowledgeStorm suggest that 71 per cent of technology buyers believe their use of RSS to hold value.
"RSS offers B2B technology marketing and PR professionals a golden opportunity to establish ongoing relationships with their target audiences and become a trusted source of valuable information on topics buyers care about most," commented Kim Cornwall Malseed, principal at MarCom Ink.
In August, Google announced that AdSense users can now utilise the service to place ads within their RSS feeds.
