A new website has been launched to provide Premiership football coverage to the league's massive Chinese fan-base.
New site Premiergoals.com has been set up by Chinese portal Sohu.com, alongside English football's official Chinese content partner, PremierGoals, promising content from 16 English clubs.
The new site is tailored to integrate exclusive editorial and video media content from the official websites of 16 English clubs linked to the project, while also aiming mobile products at the Chinese market.
Backing the launch was Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, whose club is one of those linked to the site, with the former England manager hailing the possibilities it brings.
He said: "Delivery of the wealth of official content in Chinese language will allow [Manchester City] fans in China to enjoy a wide range of terrific content from the heart of City of Manchester Stadium, bringing them closer to the team they love."
With football a growing infatuation in China, the site follows recent moves from clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea to tailor websites to the specific needs and interest of large groups of foreign-based fans.
