The ITV2 website has been redesigned to incorporate more social media and Web 2.0 elements.
According to New Media Age, the website now allows user to customise the look of the website, as well as make use of their most favoured widgets and RSS feeds.
Furthermore, the new website design will allow for the creation of widgets excusive to reality programme CelebAir.
ITV2 worked with portal Netvibes to include the new social networking features.
Kate Bradshaw, head of online commissioning at ITV.com, told New Media Age that the channel wanted to provide more useful content for its "digitally literate" viewers.
"We've worked with Netvibes as people use a lot of different sites to keep up with news and social networks. So users can aggregate all those different feeds so the site is relevant to them," she added.
Other shows that appear on ITV2 include American Idol, The Bionic Woman and Gossip Girl.
