A survey asking web users for their opinions on car manufacturer websites has placed Volvo at the top of the table for website usability.
About 1,000 consumers responded to the poll by Global Reviews, an Australian research firm with offices in the UK.
Volvo was deemed to offer the best overall user experience, as well as the highest quality online customer support service, Netimperative reports.
Meanwhile, second place was jointly occupied by BMW and Volkswagen, while Mercedes and Audi tied for fourth place.
Honda fared badly in the poll, dropping two places to seventh after respondents indicated that its web user experience was below par.
"The vast majority of consumers depend on websites to research their options when buying a car," explained Adam Goodvach, Global Reviews director.
"Car companies are missing a trick if they do not provide their customers with the best possible online experience."
