Dazed & Confused relaunches website

Popular youth magazine Dazed & Confused has launched a new look for its website.
The new site was designed with usability in mind and follows the format of an online newspaper, Dazed & Confused digital director Alistair Allen told Design Week.
He explained that the old website, first launched in 2006, had a "somewhat flawed" architecture.
Now the magazine has taken the opportunity to make its digital platform more usable and has taken the step of commissioning a new designer every week to come up with a masthead for the website.
"This time, we've gone for a basic, highly useable look with minimal design elements and laid it out in a grid format," Mr Allen remarked.
According to the Guardian's PDA blog, Dazed & Confused founder Jefferson Hack said he wanted the new site to be more of an "ideas factory" rather than a straightforward magazine website.
The magazine was first launched in the early 1990s and is distributed in more than 40 countries around the world.
