Premier League team Chelsea have this week relaunched their club website with a new design and features.
The site, Chelseafc.com, makes use of the team colour - blue - throughout and has been built to be more usable and faster.
It includes a Google-powered search facility, new information such as player profiles and statistics, multi-image features and shortcuts to ticket and fixture information.
The new website also features a new section for user-generated content, called The Shed, which hosts content - such as blogs and fan galleries - created by supporters of the team.
Other new additions to the club website consist of free e-membership for news updates and access to exclusive interviews and other content, as well as downloadable desktop widgets.
"The evolution of our website highlights the club's continued commitment to providing our global fan base with the very best in online media and reaffirms our dedication to providing content specifically with our supporters in mind," commented Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon.
Commenting on the redesign, EPLTalk.com said that the site has a more consistent design than seen on other club websites.
