Retailers looking to improve their e-commerce website might be interested to read advice on the best ways to do so.
According to Jason Lee Miller of WebProNews, online vendors could do more to satisfy consumers by providing detailed product information, multiple images, free shipping and in-store pick-up capabilities, among other offerings.
It is also crucial to make sure the website is well-represented in search engine listings and that its link is available at every possible entry point, the expert said.
Relevant landing pages, information on merchant's guarantees, access to ratings and reviews and clear links to customer services can also work wonders for those seeking to improve the online experience for consumers, Mr Miller commented.
Last month, research from Hitwise and e-retail trade body IMRG revealed that Amazon.co.uk was the most popular e-commerce website for UK consumers in May, followed by Apple, Play.com, Tesco.com and Argos.
