A new website design unveiled by the BBC has been praised by one new provider for its neat layout and usability.
E-consultancy described the new look as "nice and clean", welcoming the amount of space for content and bold text.
Customisation is a prominent aspect of the new site, with users able to add or remove content depending on their location, with local news and weather displayed when users type in their postcode.
The colour scheme is set to a default green, but users can switch to a warmer hue if they prefer.
And navigation is also customisable, with consumers able to browse the site using either the displayed modules or the footer.
In December 2007, the BBC's iPlayer received a surge of traffic, making it the 80th most-visited in Britain for one week, reported Hitwise.
