Amir Khan is to star in a new online campaign to promote Reebok.
A 3D film featuring the boxer is to appear on a select group of websites over the next few months.
It will attempt to showcase Khan's sporting prowess and feature the 21-year-old shadow boxing, with punches appearing to come out of the screen and towards the viewer, reports Brand Republic.
The video marks the extension of Khan's sponsorship deal with Reebok - originally signed in 2004 - that is to incorporate the development of a number of new products to accompany the boxer's original range of items for the company.
The Guardian's Barney Ronay asserts that the film is part of the "next phase" of the sportsman's "ascent", which is said to involve his attempt to make it in the US as well as a European title fight.
"Events such as the 3D film are part of this process, a public burnishing and making over, another layer of star veneer," Ronay contends.
Originally from Bolton, Khan rose to fame in the 2004 Athens Olympics.
