Regatta Group combines online and telephone CRM

Customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities have been unified across telephone and the internet by Regatta Group on its new websites, the company reveals.

New websites have been launched by the firm to promote the Craghoppers and Bear Grylls brands in the UK and US.

With the new CRM in place, call centre staff can access the same database of customer information that is used on the websites.

The move comes as Regatta extends the Craghoppers brand to the US after successful implementation in the UK, while Bear Grylls sites were launched in both countries simultaneously.

Group IT director Chris Bulmer says: "The UK websites have been a contributing factor to our success during 2008 and 2009.

"We are seeing significant cost savings as a result of the new platform, as well as an increase in sales."

Regatta Group previously revealed that it anticipated strong performance as more people choose to holiday within the UK, due to the need for appropriate clothing when on a domestic break.
